The home offset in firmware V4.3.3 refers to the distance between the nozzle and the edge of the hot bed after the print head home.
The positive or negative home offset value can be judged according to the following rules
1:If the home position is set to MIN, the print head is located outside the hot bed after homing, and the home offset is negative; the print head is located inside the hot bed after homing, and the home offset is positive;
2:If the home position is set to MAX, the print head is located outside the hot bed after homing, the home offset is positive, and the print head is located inside the hot bed after homing, and the home offset is negative.
Compare the home offset in the old version of the firmware for better understanding and setting
In order to better handle the positional relationship between the printing platform and the print head, to ensure that a more accurate position is detected during automatic leveling. The lerdgeV4.3.3 (beta1) version of the firmware has added parameters such as the size of the hot bed and the size of the edge of the hot bed. After updating the latest test version firmware, all parameters need to be reset. The G30 command in the new firmware adds the automatic leveling compensation calculation value output function, which can compare the compensation amount actually detected at the detection position with the compensation amount calculated by the system to determine the leveling result
