We're happy to announce the second release candidate of software version 3.4. If you can, please upgrade to this version and provide feedback in case you encounter any problems.

If everything goes well, this version will become v3.4 stable without further changes. Apart from the highlights since RC1 there is now additional support for JPEG thumbnails, improved support for newer thumbnail encodings, and bug fixes.
